Neil Jackson will make his debut as Nicholas in Westworld Season 2, but where have you seen him before?

Neil Jackson will join Westworld in Season 2, adding to the already tremendous cast. Jackson will portray a character named Nicholas; however, HBO has been very secretive regarding new characters. According to Variety, Nicholas is described as a “charming and resourceful man who finds himself in uncharted territory.” The description couldn’t get any vaguer, but, in the realm of Westworld, this is more information than we’re used to.

We do, however, know quite a bit about Neil Jackson and his impressive career. In preparation for his debut, we are going to take a look at Jackson’s body of work. Without further ado, here’s everything you need to know about Neil Jackson.

Everything You Need To Know About Westworld Season 2 Newcomer Neil Jackson

Neil Jackson hails from Luton, Bedfordshire, and showed an interest in acting when he was a teenager. He made his acting debut in several school plays before performing with the National Youth Theatre. While attending University of Wales Institute Cardiff, Jackson pursued an acting degree, but he also began boxing. During his collegiate boxing career, Jackson won the light middle-weight gold at the British Universities Boxing Championships.

After graduating in 2002, Jackson landed several acting gigs including appearances on several TV series. Jackson caught his big break in 2004, when he was cast as Perdiccas in Oliver Stone’s Alexander. From there he played Marcus Van Sciver in Blade: The Series. He also made appearances on How I Met Your Mother, CSI and Stargate SG-1.

Jackson is also a professional writer, and in 2007, he wrote the film The Passage starring Stephen Dorf. His next big breaks came in 2008 and 2009, when he nabbed roles in Quantum of Solace and Push. He then landed reoccurring roles on several television shows, including ABC’s short-lived Flashforward, Upstairs Downstairs, Make It or Break It and Sleepy Hollow. Recently, he has appeared in the film Nocturnal Animals as well as the TV mini-series Absentia.

Jackson’s range and talent is without question, and he is a welcomed addition to the Westworld family. We can’t wait to meet his character in Season 2. We still have a few months until Westworld Season 2 drops. Until then, we will continue to speculate on anything and everything Westworld.
