Thanks to the Delos Desitnation site, we know that there are 6 parks including Westworld and Samurai World. But, what could the other 4 parks be?

Westworld Season 1 swept audiences off their feet and welcomed them to a brave new world. Well, maybe not a new world per se, but a brave new theme park nonetheless. This park, simply named Westworld, was a place of limitless opportunities, and in many ways, was the ultimate escape. But, what about those patrons who aren’t fans of the wild west motif? As it turns out, there are more Delos parks that cater to a wide variety of different tastes.

The new website Delos Destinations showed us that there are 6 Delos parks, including Westworld and Samurai World. Sadly, we don’t know the themes of the other parks. Many fans have been quick to point out the original Westworld film, which featured Roman World and Medieval World. There was also the sequel to Westworld which featured (and was named) Futureworld.

Unfortunately, Jonathan Nolan has already stated that the Roman and Medieval World’s don’t exist in the show’s canon. There is still a chance that Futureworld could appear. But for now, fans are in the dark regarding the other Delos parks. So, what could these other parks be? Let’s look at some of the possibilities heading into Westworld Season 2.

or various other sites, fans are keen to throw out a vast number of theories. The truth is, the only people that know the names of the other 4 parks work on the show. There are, however, some theories that are intriguing. One in particular suggest that Futureworld could be one of the parks. But, we have no idea what that would look like. Given the technology mankind has developed on the show, their idea of the future would be beyond our comprehension.

For now, let’s say Futureworld (or a concept like it) is one of the 4 parks. That leaves of 3 more. Both Westworld and Samurai World are based off historical time periods. So, it’s a fair bet that a few others are as well. We can scratch the Roman and Medieval time periods (as stated in our intro), but what does that leave us?

Our Best Guesses For What The Other 4 Parks Could Be

The prehistoric era would be a good option; however, that was already covered in Jurassic Park. Michael Crichton penned both Jurassic Park and Westworld, but the show would probably want to avoid the comparison. Our next guess is our favorite and it would be based on the Viking Age. We’ll call it Vikingworld (or NorseWorld) for now. It would be like Westworld in many ways and would the guests live out their fantasy of conquering lands, killing and plundering everything in sight.

A world involving Ancient Greece also seems like a good choice. That would cater to the swords and sandal enthusiasts but would also offer beautiful sites and locations. Our last pick world be a world set in the time of the Persian Empire. Sure, this covers a very large time period, but we we’re thinking of the 300 BC. This would include beautiful palaces and more than enough conflict to appease those bloodthirsty fans.

To recap, we propose these 4 concepts could be the themes of the other Delos parks:

  • The distant future (Futureworld)
  • The Viking Age (Viking/Norse World)
  • Ancient Greece
  • The Persian Empire
